Mimic wrinkle relaxing mask for tense and stressed face with expression lines.
How it Works
ATTENTION: Myo-Fix range is incompatible with skincare products containing retinol, all of its derivatives and AHA-acids, because these ingredients can destroy the peptides and negate the effect.
Myo-Fix Mask relaxes and brightens the face relieving stress tension in facial muscles and helps maintain a naturally calm expression. Palmitoyl Hexapeptide-12 stimulates the production of collagen and hyaluronic acid in the skin. Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7 reduces inflammation, smoothes wrinkles and fills fine lines, evens out the complexion and improves the skin’s elasticity. Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 re-energises fibroblasts in ageing skin and boosts the production of elastin in the skin. Sodium hyaluronate moisturises the skin and prevents its drying. Skinasensyl increases the skin’s tolerance preventing allergic reaction.
AQUA (WATER), GLYCERIN, PROPYLENE GLYCOL, ALGIN, CHLORPHENESIN, OLEA EUROPEA (OLIVE) FRUIT OIL, MANNITOL, O-CYMEN-5-OL, FRAGRANCE, SODIUM CITRATE, SODIUM HYALURONATE, BUTYLPHENYL METHYLPROPIONAT, ACETYL TETRAPEPTIDE-15, PALMITOYL HEXAPEPTIDE-12, PALMITOYL TETRAPEPTIDE-7, PALMITOYL TRIPEPTIDE-1.
How to Use
Wash your face and use serum as normal. Apply Myo-Fix Concentrate directly to the wrinkles and rub in with a cotton stick. Open the sachet, take out the mask, unfold it and place it on your face. Hook side slits to your ears, pull the lower part of the mask down to cover your chin and hook the second pair of slits to your ears. Leave on for 20 minutes. After taking the mask off, rub in the remaining active gel until fully absorbed. Use 1–2 times a week or as often as you wish. Follow with Meder Beauty Science cream.
How it Works
Palmitoyl hexapeptide-12, otherwise known as palmitoyl oligopeptide, is a new generation amino-peptide, a fragment of a type I collagen molecule. It acts as a neurotransmitter, stimulates the production of collagen and other major extracellular matrix proteins. Together with palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7, it works synergistically and significantly increases the amount of collagen and hyaluronic acid in the skin. This ingredient is being studied for its positive effects on the skin, that has the same results as retinoids, but with fewer side effects. Palmitoyl oligopeptide’s tests suggest that this peptide may work to stimulate collagen production and help skin cells remain more stable. While retinoids can smooth wrinkles and encourage rapid cell turnover to make skin look younger, it can also cause redness, stinging, peeling, and itching. Retinoids are also sensitive to the sun, which means it is not effective for those who use their cosmetic products during daylight hours. In contrast, palmitoyl oligopeptide seems to lack retinol’s sun sensitivity and causes little to no side effects, even for those with sensitive skin.
Palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7 also known as Rigin, is a type of synthetic peptide compound which combines several chains of amino acids to reduce skin inflammation and the accompanying skin damage. This peptide compound is also believed to stimulate the regeneration of collagen fibers in the dermis by acting as sort of cellular messenger. Palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7 is also thought to increase the amount of hyaluronic acid in the skin, which can help tighten skin by attracting moisture to the epidermis. This powerful peptide may reduce the production of interleukin to up to 40 percent (Interleukin is a compound often associated with inflammation, as the body creates it in response to damage. For example, skin cells damaged due to the over exposure to the UV rays can cause the production of this chemical, leading to cell deterioration from inflammation). By blocking interleukins synthesis, palmitoyl tetrapeptide 7 relieves some of the chemical pressure on the skin, and allows it to heal faster. Palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7 may also reduces problems with skin roughness, fine lines, thin skin and wrinkles, induces natural collagen production for skin healing and rejuvenation and reduces the appearance of uneven skin tones. The action of rigin is similar, in some ways, to dehydroepiandosterone (DHEA), which is sometimes referred to as the “youth hormone” – rigin can reduce the effects of aging on the skin. This means reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles as well as evening out skin tone, improving elasticity, and increasing skin hydration.
Pal-GHK (also called palmitoyl tripeptide-1 and palmitoyl oligopeptide) is a synthetic peptide known for its effects on collagen, skin health, and skin pigment. It is currently under investigation for its ability to boost collagen synthesis as well as for its ability to stimulate blood vessel growth. Peptide tricks fibroblasts into thinking that elastin, a common skin protein, has been damaged. This induces the fibroblasts to grow and multiply so that they can regenerate what they think is the lost elastin in skin. In aging skin, fibroblasts tend to lose activity and become dormant. Studies indicate that GHK can re-energize fibroblasts and thus help to overcome some of the common effects – particularly, wrinkles, that aging has on skin.
Hyaluronic Acid (HA) is a polysaccharide and a compound that occurs naturally in every tissue of the body, with the highest concentrations occurring in tissues such as skin, cartilage and eyes. Providing protection to cell structures, HA is the natural gel between skin cells that serves as a water reservoir for the cells. As we age, skin loses hyaluronic acid and the ability to hold sufficient water in this reservoir. Feeding new hyaluronic acid to skin may help hydrate skin’s intercellular reservoir, raising skin’s moisture level, and smoothing down age lines.
Topically, Hyaluronic Acid has water storing properties, making it an ideal swelling agent and lubricant, enabling its incorporation into cosmetics leading to a perceptible and visible improvement of skin condition. In use, it forms a thin transparent visco elastic surface film that helps to preserve the characteristics of youthful and healthy skin: suppleness, elasticity and tone.
Acetyl Tetrapeptide-15 (Skinasensyl)
A peptide that increases the skin’s tolerance threshold of over-reactive, neurosensitive skin and makes it less reactive to external stimuli: sensations of pain and discomfort are reduced.
